Qualifications and skills
In order to thrive, develop and create success in this mission, you have to fulfil the following:
- Demonstrated strategic leadership experience in the context of development aid.
- Overall experience in managing and working with administration, financial management and HR in an international context.
- Strong experience in project management, preferably from an NGO perspective.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in French and English.
- Understanding a Scandinavian language is an asset.
- Contextual knowledge of DRC or the Congo Basin region is an advantage.
- Multiple years of working experience, preferably within development assistance and/or environment management, human rights or relevant international policy and advocacy work.
- Relevant higher university degree (engineer, political scientist, agronomist, economist).
- All formal education can be compensated by relevant experience
